Appointed CEO in 2015, Stewart is an Internationally mobile CEO with a proven track record in FMCG businesses, former FTSE 100 Director and working experience in the UK, USA, Scandinavia, Switzerland, Eastern Europe, CIS, Middle East, China, Australia and Africa.
He has held senior board positions in large publicly traded companies and as a turnaround CEO specialist in private equity backed companies.
Alan joined Halewood Wines and Spirits in September 2015. Prior to joining Halewood, Alan held a number of senior financial roles at drinks companies most recently as International Finance Director at Roust (owner of Russian Standard Vodka and Zubrowka), and VP Finance Western Europe and Africa at Brown-Forman (owner of Jack Daniel’s and Woodford Reserve among others).
Prior to that Alan worked at BOC and The Coca-Cola Company. Alan is a Chartered Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Bristol.
James has many years of marketing experience in the drinks industry having worked for distillers and brewers in both the UK and abroad.
Most recently, he spent 5 years and William Grant & Son’s, where he managed brands such as Glenfiddich, Grant’s whisky, The Balvennie and Sailor Jerry. In a drinks distributor capacity, James has worked on brands such as Johnnie Walker, Rémy Martin, Bombay Sapphire, Cointreau, Kronenbourg 1664 and Heineken.
Johan has a career of 25 years in the retail, food, beverage and manufacturing environment in South Africa.
Johan has been in General Management and Managing Director rolls since 1999 and has a B Comm Accounting (Hons) degree and a Master’s degree in Business Management.
Elena has 20 years’ experience working in tobacco and drinks industry holding various management positions in brand marketing, sales & commercial in Russia and the Middle East.
Before joining Halewood Int. in Jan. 2019, Elena had been the General Director of an RTD (Ready-to-Drink) factory in Russia, Roust Holding for the last 7 years with the proven track record of successfully turning the business around from losses to profit through strong financial management, constantly increasing and diversifying business capabilities and personally leading the ongoing evolution of the brand portfolio.
Evgeniya is a drinks industry professional with over 15 years of extensive international experience with particular emphasis on emerging markets.
At Bulgaria’s leading wine and spirits company, she led the opening and development of international markets and team for the company’s local brands. After leaving VP Brands International she managed the international business for a UK premium spirits brand owner and most recently she worked for Roust managing the company’s core brands including Russian Standard Vodka, Green Mark, Zubrowka, Gancia in emerging markets.
James Wright has more than 20 years’ experience in the alcohol industry. He joined Halewood Wines & Spirits in 2007 and during his time has held both UK and international roles, where he previously served as the Agency and Business Development Director, and prior to that, International Sales and Marketing Controller. Most recently James has taken the reins as Managing Director at Aber Falls – North Wales’ first whisky distillery for more than 100 years.
Previous roles working for Red Bull, Modelo Corona and Regent Inns.
Lee is responsible for all aspects of the Operations for the Halewood Group in the UK.
With over 20 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations, Lee has covered all aspects from contract packing through to Distillery design and build. Lee started his career with Halewood at H&A Prestige Bottling before moving to Halewood Wine & Spirits.
