The newest distillery in our growing family, Aber Falls is the first whisky distillery to hail from North Wales for over 100 years.
The spirit of North Wales
The village of Abergwyngregyn is home to our distillery, and sits at the foot of the famous Aber Falls waterfall. This picturesque spot is easily accessible, just off the A55 and a stone’s throw from the coast.
Previously a slate works in the 19th century, our building has been lovingly restored and refurbished, proving the ideal place to create our spirits and demonstrate the passion and skill in our craftsmanship.
Looking ahead
Aber Falls Whisky Distillery sits at the gateway of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, within the small village of Abergwyngregyn near Conwy (J13 of the A55).
We also work very closely with residents to integrate into our local community. Aber Falls has been embraced by the local community, and is working to establish strong links and partnerships with other Welsh businesses, with the goal of improving sustainability and driving the local economy and tourism trade.
Aber Falls is committed to quality and a premium taste, and we want to be recognised and respected for the calibre of our product and what it stands for.
Our team is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about whisky, and we all work with the same goal in mind – to create the best whiskies and spirits using the finest ingredients sourced from Wales.
The distillery visitor centre offers you the chance to tour and see the working whisky distillery and sample some of our global award-winning portfolio.
Tours run between 12 and 5pm, 7 days a week during the summer holidays including most bank holidays and last approximately 40mins.
