It is our policy to comply with, or exceed, the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974 (and Regulations made under it) to promote a positive safety culture and maintain safe and healthy conditions within our working environment.

The executive team of Halewood Wines and Spirits have allocated clear responsibilities for health and safety and are regularly updated by the dedicated Health & Safety department. Safety performance is closely monitored to ensure the business reacts to any issues promptly and provides adequate controls of health and safety risks arising from our work activities.

The company has invested in health & safety, especially training for many staff, particularly in higher-risk operational areas, and it works with union and employee representatives to manage health & safety. We are committed to making continual improvements in all aspects our safety performance.
